1,965 schools / 1 million 345 thousand persons (applying schools among elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, special schools in Gyeonggi-do)

Support contents :

Support the difference between general agricultural products and excellent agricultural products such as environmentally friendly products etc.

Support the difference between general agricultural products and excellent agricultural products such as environmentally friendly products etc. :

30% of supply price of agricultural products to school, 15% of supply price of processed foods, difference between supply price of rice to schools and government’s supply price of rice

However, in case of environmentally friendly potatoes, onions and fruits produced in the Gyeonggi-do, support 50% difference of supply price to schools

Support amount :

• - Support condition : schools participating in school feeding program of Gyeonggi-do’s excellent agricultural products such as environmentally friendly products etc.
• - Support items : environmentally friendly agricultural products, G mark, GAP, organically processed foods
• ※ As for GAP agricultural products, in case that general agricultural products are supplied due to the difficulty of supplying excellent agricultural products such as environmentally friendly products etc. from in and outside Gyeonggi-do, supply GAP agricultural products produced in Gyeonggi-do.

Direction of promotion

Make a safe feeding culture to take root secure sales routes of excellent environmentally friendly agrofood produced in Gyeonggi-do

Ensure substantiality of supply system (stabilize improvement of supply)

• - Stabilize improvement of unification of supply operation
• - Maintain stable supply and demand through measurement and management of supply and demand

Secure safety of agrofood (strengthen companywide sanitation for distribution)

• - Strengthen verification system of safety through preventive management
• - Strengthen on-site inspection and sanitation education

Task of promotion

Establish stable operation of supply improvement system and sustainable supply structure

• - Responsible operation of the management system of new business and unification of supply operation
• - Prepare sustainable supply structure for environmentally friendly agriculture population in Gyeonggi-do
• - Introduce competition in distribution costs(fees) and foster appropriate price
• - Introduce management system of supply and demand of agricultural products

Strengthen preventive safety management system and sanitation verification of foods

• - Strengthen safety management system of agricultural products
• - Enhance and strengthen quality management of agrofood and satisfaction of supply

Establish communicative exchange and cooperation system and vitalize healthy food culture

• - Establish network foundation for environmentally friendly school feeding
• - Vitalize communicative exchange of consumption and strengthen diet education
