What is Good Agricultural Practices(GAP)?
Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) is a system to manage risk factors of such as fertilizers, heavy metals and microorganisms etc. from production to harvest and packaging stage

Introduced to provide safe agricultural products, enhance consumers’ trust and strengthen the competitiveness of our agricultural products by establishing the safety management system of agricultural products from production to sales
Overview of the certification of Good Agricultural Practices(GAP)
- Qualification of application :
- individual production farm and producer’s organization etc.
- Period of application :
- Applicable when agricultural products concerned are under production plan or growing according to certification criteria and the growing period hasn’t passed 2/3 of total period
- Certification criteria :
- Products produced and managed in conformity to the criteria of Good Agricultural Practices
- Certification area :
- Gyeonggi-do
Management and education of GAP certified farms
Aims to contribute to vitalizing local economy and increasing agricultural income by carrying out promotion events such as exchange between (city)agriculture & rural community and sales promotion etc. to promote consumption of Gyeonggi agricultural products.
